Hyatt’s initiative for tsunami victims

Kathmandu: The recent natural disaster that wreaked havoc in South East Asia will remain as a blot in human history. Many of us watched the disaster and the natural calamity has left only memories of loved ones. The unforgettable impact of the disaster will always be remembered by thousands of families. As the world is working together to help raise the fund for the victims, Hyatt Regency, too, has come up with its contribution. In response to this disaster, Hyatt International head office in Chicago has set up a “Hyatt International Relief Fund” which will enable all the employees to make donations if they wish and in conjunction has also made a substantial contribution towards the fund, states a release by Hyatt Regency, Kathmandu.

“We have all watched with absolute horror the heart wrenching images of the impact the tsunami had in South Asia. There are no words to describe the devastation.

Our hearts and prayers go out to the thousands of people who are enduring such dreadful sorrow and loss,” said Harinder Singh, general manager, Hyatt Regency, Kathmandu. —HNS
