Irresistible, unforgettable Dosa

Kathmandu:

Dosa has always been an irrestible temptation to foodies. And this time around Hotel Yak and Yeti brings the authentic and mouth-watering taste of the South Indian dishes from Chef V Karupa’s kitchen, who’s come all the way from South India to tantalise your taste buds.

One remembers dosa for long once he savours it — the freshness of crispy rice with sambar and chutneys of dhaniya, tomato and coconut. It is, however, more than a potato filled dosa available at outlets in the city. Sunrise Café at Yak & Yeti has brought in dosa with lamb pepperoni, salmon, parma ham, duck sekuwa as well as spiced prawns for non-vegetarians and traditional soda with potatoes, cheese, paneer including vegetarian dishes. Dosa is a light dish appropriate for any meal. “We wanted to give our customers a different taste. Since autumn is here, dosa can be best variation in taste,” opines K K Basnet, executive sous chef at the hotel. Any of the crispy cuisines along with full buffet is offered at Rs 799 at the café for dinner. The festival is on till September15.
