KATHMANDU:

The crowd went crazy as soon as Mohit Chauhan and the Band performed the very popular Tum se hi from the movie Jab we met. Some of the guys in the crowd waved, some girls danced together and one of the couple sitting closer to the stage got up and danced together. It was romantic, it was heart touching, exciting and words come short to express the enthusiasm the crowd felt during the show.

The concert presented by Yamaha Gladiator SS and managed by PartyNepal saw crowd in hundreds flocking the Jawalakhel ground. The show started with the very popular Nepali band Mt 8848 performing some of their hit numbers. The crowd immensely enjoyed Jaba hunchu ma satthi and Maski maski. After the crowd pulling performance by Mt 8848, the much awaited performance of the day Mohit Chuhan and the Band took over the stage. Forgetting the scorching heat, the crowd supported the band with zeal singing the songs along along with the artiste.

Singing all time hits like Duba duba and making the crowd scream for more, Chauhan and his band ensured the crowd that it was worth their money. Apart from their hits from previous albums of Silk Route and they also performed songs like Jaaniye by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Dosti by Junoon and also Tuhi mere shab hai from the movie Gangster on request. As Chauhan’s latest song Tum se hi is very popular, he performed it thrice on the crowd’s demand.

To everyone’s surprise Chauhan flawlessly sang Gajalu ti thula thula aankha.
