Keira warns of overrated fame
LONDON:
Actress Keira Knightley has criticised youngsters who are obsessed with being a celebrity and says fame is overrated. The Pirates Of The Caribbean star says she can’t understand the hype regarding her celebrity status. Contactmsuic.com quoted her as saying, “It frightens me when kids go ‘I want to be famous’. Why? Because you want to go into a restaurant! You know what, if you book, you can get into a restaurant. Okay, I’m on the cover of a magazine but somebody does the hair, and the make-up and airbrushes the f*** out of me — it’s not me, it’s something other people have created.”
