Kids’ day out

Kathmandu:

The Bal Mandir premises was teeming with children since early morning to mark the first day of celebrations of the Wai Wai Bal Mandir Mahotsav 2063 on September 15. While the ebullient children of all age groups seemed keyed up to participate in an array of celebratory events, others were busy with the different stalls and games they had arranged for at the festival.

With games and food stalls, the place not only seemed like the perfect place for the children to be, but the children themselves were having a field day in the festivities that was solely meant for them.

The afternoon was lined up with more exciting events, which not included art and craft exhibitions by the children, but also included an inter-school singing and dancing competition. The organisers expect the festivities to rev up with each passing day of the mahotsav.

The mahotsav will continue till September 17.
