KATHMANDU: The music release of the Nirak Poudel’s film Kusume Rumal was held at Gopi Krishna Movies on October 17. Present at the function as the chief guests were Dr Bhola Rijal and Bhuwan KC, while other guests included KP Pathak, Manoj KC, Daboo Chhettri, Deepak Shrestha and Bijay Thapa.

A special programme was held to honour legends such as Gopal Yonzon, Nati Kaji and Tara Devi, who have made great contributions to the Nepali music world. Renchin Yonzon, Saraswati Shrestha and Ravi Shrestha received the awards in the legends’ names.

After thanking the spot boys for their efforts on the sets of Kusume Rumal, the album was officially released by Dr Bhola Rizal, Bhuwan KC, Uddap and Nirak Poudel.

KC, who was the lead character in the first Kusume Rumal, remembered the great moment when he received the title of the first silver jubilee hero for that very movie. He also hoped that the new Kusume Rumal would celebrate its golden jubilee.

Dr Rizal expressed his happiness to see so many new faces in this film and the fact that a film was being made which would fulfill the wishes of the new generation.
