Lavigne goes for glam look

LONDON:

Canadian rocker Avril Lavigne is transforming her tough style for a more ladylike look and says that growing up was the main reason for the change of her image.

According to contactmusic.com, Lavigne is keen to retain her rock ‘n roll edginess on which she gained fame in her teens. But she has recently added some glitz into her wardrobe. She says: “I think I just went from 17 to 21. I am a woman now. When I first broke on the scene, I was a little kid straight out of high school and into skate-boarding and all that.

Now I am older. I’ll keep wearing the rock look but a little more feminine, a little more of that rock glam thing going on.” — HNS
