Li on rescue mission

LONDON: Chinese actor Jet Li has joined aid workers in Taiwan to hand out urgently needed supplies to survivors of the typhoon which devastated areas of the country last week.

The star has teamed up the Red Cross to dish out boxes of food and relief supplies to the thousands of people who have lost their homes in the floods.

On August 14, Li took part in a celebrity fundraiser which helped raise $33 million to aid typhoon victims.
