Long, long days
Till May 16 (Jestha 2) schools were running smoothly, but things started going wrong when the bandh started.
I used to wake up early, study and then go to school but after my school shut down, my habits have changed completely. I thought that schools would remain shut for a day, but it has gone on. As a result, I started sleeping in late and gave less time to my studies. I was more attracted towards drawing and reading novels. But I had to make sure that I browsed through the newspapers and watched the news, and I hate doing these two things.
I started wondering when school would reopen and got worried I would not be able to meet my fri-ends. I also started to think that it would be difficult to complete the courses and that we would have lots of work in the coming days.
As time passed, it started getting more boring. Then I had a bright idea — why not utilise the holidays doing some extra work like reading, writing poems and articles, among other things.
If we spend our holidays with our family and utilise the time in a proper way, holidays are good and useful.
