LONDON: Eva Longoria has said that she wants to be like Victoria Beckham.

The Desperate Housewives star met the former Spice Girl through husband/French basketball player Tony Parker, who is apparently friends with Victoria' husband/soccer star David Beckham. "Tony is a friend of David's (Beckham) and when they moved to Los Angeles, I got the chance to meet Victoria and we just hit it off. So we're close friends. She's just an amazing woman," the Mirror quoted Longoria as telling New! Magazine.

She added, "I admire the wife and mother that she is and, at the same time, this glamorous, beautiful businesswoman. I aspire to be like her some day." Longoria also loves Victoria's clothing designs.She said, "Awesome! Right now they are my favourite dresses. I think Victoria is not just another celebrity trying to have just a clothing line. She is fashion and definitely knows what's she's talking about."
