Lounging around in style

KATHMANDU:

While joints and pubs are being revved up with massive projector screens, soccer fans might wonder where to be during the World Cup 2006. Well, shifting through the number of places, Maroon Lounge at Thamel might be one of the places to barge in for a spectacular viewing and fine dining experience.

With its exquisitely ornate interior and the delectable range of mouth-watering cuisine, viewing the World Cup here could be a different experience altogether.

In a run-up to the World Cup, Maroon Lounge in association with Mirage organised ‘Blow Some My Way’ featuring Raju Lama performing live with Mongolian Hearts on May 26. The performance was followed by an in-house DJ session.

The event was sponsored by L&M and supported by Media Concerns. — HNS
