Mumbai: Jai Prakash, the director, who last made a Manisha Koirala-starrer ‘Market’, is all set to try his hands at allegedly the most interesting feud of 2004, the Ambani saga.

Says Prakash, “Brothers feuding over property ownership issues is a common phenomenon among several families. My story, inspired by the Ambani household, uses the rivalry between brothers as just a backdrop. It actually concentrates on the wife of one of the brothers who seeks a divorce.”

What makes this Prakash’s effort more interesting is his choice of actors. While he

hasn’t zeroed in on the actors to recruit to portray the Ambani siblings, he says, “For the female lead, a former actor who marries a rich industrialist, also touted to be Tina Ambani, I plan to approach Neha Dhupia or Mallika Sherawat.” With Mallika onboard and apt title ‘Sauda-The Deal’, the film is expected to “shed” some real light on the tussle between Ambani bothers. — Agencies
