Man pulls plane with ears

A man has moved a passenger plane using only his ears in a bizarre world record attempt which raised cash for charity. Manjit Singh, from Leicester, moved the 7.4-tonne, 41-seat aircraft 12 feet at East Midlands Airport to raise money for an academy in India. Afterwards, he said he had a bit of pain but otherwise felt all right. The 57-year-old already holds 30 world records, including pulling a double-decker bus 78.2 metres with his hair and lifting 85kg with his ears.

Manjit said he felt really pleased with his latest achievement and having big ears definitely helped. “My ears are very big,” he said. “When I was small, going to school, my teachers used to pull my ears, because I was a very naughty boy. That’s why my ears are strong.”
