Marcia Gay Harden has twins

LOS ANGELES: Oscar-winning actress Marcia Gay Harden just got a double dose of motherhood. Harden, who won the 2001 best-supporting actress Oscar for ‘Pollock’ as artist Lee Krasner, wife of abstract painter Jackson Pollock, gave birth to twins, her Los Angeles-based publicist said. The 44-year-old actress and her husband, Thaddaeus Scheel, had a boy, Hudson Harden Scheel, and a girl, Julitta Dee Harden Scheel, last Thursday in New York.

“Everyone is doing fine,” said publicist Carri McClure. “They’re not getting a lot of sleep, but everyone is doing well.” The actress and her husband also have a 5-year-old daughter, Eulala Grace. Harden was nominated for a supporting-actress Oscar for last year’s ‘Mystic River’. She has also appeared recently in the films ‘Mona Lisa Smile’ and ‘Welcome to Mooseport’.
