Monster of a night

KATHMANDU:

Haloween night was celebrated with much galore and panache all over the City on October 31. The ghosts and slimy creatures certainly did not come to scare the party lovers away but some sensational surprises did await them giving them a perfect Monday night. Three parties around town did a lot towards making this Halloween an enjoyable and memorable festival.

The most sensational Halloween party was at the Hotel Everest, which went out of its way to give the party people the best in entertainment. The venue was very appropriately decorated for ‘Halloween Bites’ and weird ghost-like creatures could be seen loitering around. Two stunning Romanian pole dancers were invited, who danced to some amazing tunes played by DJ Pramod from Mumbai and DJ Ankit from Club Galaxy. The two graceful damsels, Gina and Olympia, were perfect eye candy for all present. Some sensuous moves, two chic looking female dancers, an ambience perfect for the occasion, luscious delicacies and of course the awesome music were the main factors behind attracting a crowd of about 600 people. For those preferring a quieter atmosphere, the poolside was just the perfect place to be. This Halloween party definitely impressed the crowd, which consisted of some happening glitterati. And the fact that many were caught up in some in-house parties for Diwali still did not stop the partygoers from coming in and enjoying the night till the wee hours.

At Black Pearl, Hotel Yak and Yeti, the scene was quite similar with around 300 youngsters pouring in. The lights put out to make the ambience spooky and scary as any Halloween night is supposed to be. DJs Rupesh and Flex showcased their spinning talents with some tremendous commercial music to keep the crowd rocking till they dropped. The bartenders were the main attraction, who flaunted some amazing skills. The bar and the DJ box were lit with fire giving the club a very charismatic look. This party too went on till much after midnight proving the fact that no matter which day of the week it is, the Nepali people just need an occasion to party. And yes, they do party hard.

‘Halloween Night’ at Rox Bar, Hotel Hyatt Regency was a party that truly enthralled the party animals. With masks and decorated pumpkins, it was again a perfect environment for Halloween. DJ Raju grooved the crowd with some up-to-date commercial and hip-hop tracks. His own Nepali remixes were a great attraction. Around 300 people were thronging the club, which was also screening some scary horror movies on televisions. The hip and happening crowd looked chic and the masks they flaunted made the entire ambience highly creative and mysterious.
