KATHMANDU: After a long hiatus, popular singer Nabin K Bhattarai has made a comeback with the release of a new pop album, NKB, on Thursday.

The first song from the album, marketed by Music Nepal, Mero Naam, has been released on YouTube, radio, television and other media today.

The lyrics has been penned down by Naresh Dev Panta and music composed by Iman Bikram Shah.

Singer Nabin K Bhattarai expressed pleasure in working with the lyricist after almost 13 years adding that most of the old songs sung by him were written by Panta.

"Audiences would like my new songs as they liked my songs in the past," Bhattarai expressed optimism.

Since the songs were recorded using an old tape recording technology instead of new digital technology, their sound quality is better, Bhattarai shared.
