KATHMANDU:

An exhibition titled Colour of Nature was inaugurated by French Ambassador Gilles Henry Garault at The Art Shop on April 27. As the name suggests all the paintings showcase the magnanimity of nature. The works of three artists namely Laya Mainali, Sudarshan B Rana and Sunita Rana are on exhibition at the gallery.

The three artists have delved on the beauty of nature and created delightful artworks. The works are beautiful and serene with a mesmerising mixture of colours mostly in light hues of green with vibrant colours that depict flowers and even human figures. Some of the paintings have distinct landscapes capturing all that is pleasant that nature has to offer, while some are quite abstract in form.

The exhibition is on till May 10. — HNS
