Nepathya charms Sydney
Nepathya kicked off their Australian tour with their first show at the Science Theatre of the University of NSW in Sydney on January 3.
According to a nepalaya statement, Nepathya’s opening act — Mainapokhari Ghatana — left all in a solemn mood. “I could not stop my tears — to see what Nepal had gone through in recent years,” quotes Sushma who had come for the concert as saying.
“It was a special moment for me to hear the audience sing all the songs with me. People observed both sorrow and joy with our songs,” said Nepathya frontman Amrit according to the release.
Along with it’s hit numbers, Nepathya also sang Salaijo from it’s unreleased album as part of the two-hour concert.
After Sydney, Nepathya will be performing in Brisbane and Melbourne before heading back home.
