KATHMANDU: Nepal's premier folk-rock band, Nepathya, today released a music video for 'Aina Jhyal' in honour of National Poet Madhav Prasad Ghimire's 100th birthday celebration.

The song was written by Madhav Prasad Ghimire, arranged by Nepathya in the year 2010 and incorporated in the Aina Jhyal album, Nepathya said in a statement today.

"Although King Mahendra had declared democracy in the country, in reality, people's movement was restrained during that time. So I had composed this song," Ghimire recalls.
