Nepathya Nite ends ANA convention in Arizona

Nepathya Nite marked the end of the ANA Convention 2004. The 22nd annual convention of the Association of Nepalis in the Americas concluded with Nepathya performing as closing act. The 23rd ANA Convention is to meet in Texas next year. Nepathya was amongst the highlights of the convention. Fans from as far as New York had flown in just make it for the concert. “I will certainly make it to DC as well, I danced a lot today but am not yet satisfied,” said Sushil Gurung, a New York-based Nepathya fan.
From the music video of “Sa... Karnali” shown prior to the show to hits such as “Chekyo Chekyo”, “Resham” and “Bhedako Oon...”, to patriotic numbers such as “Hamro Khusiko”, “Gaun Gaun Bata” to “Rato Ra Chandra Surya” were well received. Amrit Gurung, vocalist, expressed his wish for a brotherhood. “ I urge all Nepalis to come together and contribute from your respective capacities to resolve peace in our Nepal,” he said.
