KATHMANDU, JULY 29

Nepathya, the pioneering band celebrated for uniting global audiences through folk music and championing Nepali culture, is set to embark on a month-long tour across the United States.

In a press statement, the band announced that this tour will mark their historic sixth visit to the US. During this tour, Nepathya will perform on prestigious stages in seven cities, spanning from the East Coast to the West Coast.

The band is scheduled to depart for the U.S. today, with their inaugural performance slated for August 3 in Denver, Colorado, the state's capital. Colorado, renowned for its dramatic landscapes of mountains, rivers, and forests, is home to a vibrant Nepali community, according to the statement.

This concert will represent Nepathya's debut in this region, kicking off their US tour at the historically significant Boulder Theater near Denver.

The band will then travel to San Francisco, California, for their second tour stop at the Warfield Theater on August 10, where they previously performed eight years ago.

For their third engagement, Nepathya will head to Columbus, Ohio, to perform at the Kemba Live Concert Venue on August 17. This will be a new experience for the band in this city, as noted in the statement.

Following Columbus, Nepathya will return to the southern U.S., arriving in Dallas, Texas, for their fourth concert. After a six-year hiatus, they will once again perform in Dallas, this time at the Toyota Music Factory. The band is dedicated to providing an unforgettable evening for the Nepali audience in Texas on August 24.

Subsequent to Dallas, Nepathya will head north to New York City, the most frequently visited city on their U.S. tour. They will perform at Terminal 5 in Manhattan on August 30, marking a change from their previous New York venues, as detailed in the statement.

After their New York performance, the band will travel slightly south to Maryland, where they will take the stage at the Hall at Live! in the Live Casino Hotel Maryland on September 1.

The tour will conclude in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, with a final performance on September 7 at the Forum Auditorium. This will be Nepathya's first appearance in Harrisburg, and the Forum Auditorium, an establishment nearly a century old originally designed for symphony orchestras, will host their concluding concert.

Nepathya first toured the U.S. in 2004, performing in Phoenix and Washington, D.C. Since then, they have also performed in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Dallas, and Boston.

After a successful tour in nearby Canada last year, this marks Nepathya's first visit to the U.S. since the COVID pandemic. The tour is being organized by DJ Momo Entertainment.

According to the statement, tickets for all U.S. concerts are available for purchase online. Reservations can be made through Nepathya's official website, nepathya.com.np.
