KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 22

Nepathya, Nepal's premier folk-rock band, is set to perform in Siliguri, India, on February 28 for the very first time.

In a statement, Nepalaya, the band's management company, said, "After touring four cities in the first leg of the Nepal Tour 2026, the band is now preparing to perform across the border for their first international concert."

The band has previously performed in Sikkim and Shillong and will now enthrall audiences at the Utsodhara Tista Township grounds on Saturday.

"Our Nepali-speaking audience in India has always shown us immense love and support," said the band's lead vocalist, Amrit Gurung. "This time, we are eager to take that bond to an entirely new level with our performance."

On stage, Amrit Gurung will, as always, be accompanied by Dhruv Lama on drums, Subin Shakya on bass guitar, Neeraj Gurung on guitar, Shanti Rayamajhi on madal, and Dineshraj Regmi on keyboards.

For the Siliguri concert, arrangements have been made for online ticketing. Audience members can reserve their seats directly through Nepathya's official website, www.nepathya.com.np.

Separate online portals have been created to facilitate ticket purchases for viewers in India and other countries outside Nepal, according to the statement.
