KATHMANDU: Nepathya fans Down Under will jump with joy at this news as Nepathya is all set to tour Australia in the coming new year. According to a nepalaya statement, Nepathya will be performing two shows in Sydney on January 3 and 10, one in Brisbane on January 16, and one in Melbourne on January 18.

The statement says that the concerts are being held coinciding with the Tamu Lochar celebrations and the Tamu Samaj Sydney based in Australia is sponsoring the tour.

Famous for their folksy tunes and invigorating music and interaction with the audience, Nepathya concerts are looked forward to by all Nepali music fans. Besides their popular numbers, the band will be playing some new unreleased numbers from their forthcoming album, which is due to be released sometime in 2009.
