Small opportunities can bring vital changes in life. Another new face in Kollywood, Ramit Dhungana, is an example. A month ago, only a handful knew Dhungana as an actor but now things have changed. Dabur Anmol Motion Picture Award 2060, organised by Nepal 1 Television, appeared as a remarkable and historic event in his life. He was awarded the title ‘Achievement as a debutant male’ for his film ‘Maya Namara’.

According to him, the best new actor award brought radical changes in his life opening doors for new opportunities in his career. “I never thought that I would be honoured with the award. This felicitation has encouraged me to work even harder,” said Ramit.

Ramit started his career from his home production ‘Maya Namara’. Since then he has not worked in any other movie despite having received numerous offers after receiving the award. He shared, “I will utilise this honour given to me to develop my professional skills and the whole of the Nepali film industry. Award functions are necessary for the institutional development of the Nepali film industry in order to encourage new talents.”
