No guns on sets, says Jolie
LONDON: Actress Angelina Jolie has banned guns from the sets of her new movie Wanted to protect her children from unnecessary violence.
Jolie has supposedly told the staff to protect her four children — five-year-old Maddox, three-year-old Pax, two-year-old Zahara and almost-one Shiloh — from playing with fake weapons, reports contactmus-ic.com. “Angelina is protecting them from seeing her making violence look good. It’s caused a few chuckles. Most of her successful roles have had her waving weapons and getting violent. Staff has been told the kids can’t even see props. And toy guns are a complete no-no,” said a source.
Meanwhile, acting legend Kirk Douglas is keen on meeting Angelina Jolie before the year is over. Though he believes meeting the actress would be the highlight of his 91st year, he’ll only do so after wife Anne gives him permission, reports contactmusic.com. He said, “I’d like to meet Angelina Jolie, if my wife approves.”
