NTV Nite woos youth

The NTV Nite at the BICC on 28 January, organised to mark the channel’s 22nd Anniversary, sent one message loud and clear-NTV is slowly waking up to the call of the global culture.
The programme started with the president of Employee’s Union of NTB, Surendra K Karki welcoming the guests. Then came the famous Tito Satya couple Deepak Raj Giri and Deepa Shree Niraula to give the audience their first bout of laughter.
After Roshan Gurung warbled the patriotic Janani Janmachumischa, pin-up belles bogeyed with dashing dudes in dance numbers of various artists, leaving the audience stunned and amused. The stage in the second programme virtually turned into a discotheque, with the lights playing its part.
The programme also boasted of an array of renowned artists from the music industry. Talented musician Anil Shahi and his team’s east and west fusion instrumental earned a massive applause. Sugam Pokharel and the Madzone musical offerings were also a treat for music aficionados. Other artists like Mausami Gurung, Ciney Gurung, Bharat Sitaula, Kranti Ale also didn’t fail to entertain the audience.
Almost all of the singers had a group of dancing youngsters accompanying them. Dance party of Dilip Rayamajhi, who could not be present due to some reasons, also got good response.
The Tito Satya team was well equipped to send the audience into a laughing frenzy.
Jire Khursani team also was not far behind in entertaining the audience. Through their performance, they were quite able to send the message that united can we solve problems facing the country.
The jam-packed hall heard more shouts and cheers of young folks, who were seen enjoying the programme, the most. And the 14 min dance at the end of the programme gave a perfect finish to the programme.
