Old and refined
The Southwestern University (SU) first opened its doors in Georgetown in 1873. Southwestern enrolls students from around the globe. International students study in the capacity of both Southwestern degree-seeking or exchange programmes. SU offers 37 majors, 33 minors and many study abroad, research and internship programmes.
Degrees
Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Fine Arts.
No graduate degrees are offered.
Admission requirements
Completion of a competitive secondary school curriculum with above average performance.
Students whose first language is not English must take the TOEFL and achieve a score of 570 on the written test, 230 on the computer test, or an 88 on the Internet-based test.
Students whose first language is English must take the SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) or the ACT Test.
