On the Playlist
As Christmas is here, TGIF talks with some renowned singers of K-town and lends an ear to their Christmas playlist:
Christmas songs give me a vibe of joy and celebration, I fall in love with the lyrics and the rhythm. For me the most melodious songs for Christmas are:
- Jingle bells by Sebastian Bledea
- Rudolph the red-nose Reindeer
- Mary’ Boy Child by Boney M
- So this is Christmas by John Lennon
- Last Christmas by Wham
Christmas songs make me me happy. My playlist for the Holidays include some of my all time favourites:
- Ritu Haruma timi by Arun Thapa
- Bhulu Bhulu Lagyo malai by Arun Thapa
- Wonderful Christmas time by The Beatles
- Have I told you lately by Rod Stewart
- Wonderful tonight by Eric Clapton
I remember the Christmas songs from my college days. One thing which I love about these songs is its flawless soothing lyrics. This Christmas I’ll be listening to:
- The Christmas Party by The Walkmen
- New kid in town by The Eagles
- Love bites by Def Leppard
- Ready for love by Bad Company
- The Christmas song by Nat King Cole
Any song on my playlist that reminds me of a cold day with hot steaming cup of coffee is my pick of Christmas song. I never go for
particular Christmas songs but prefer songs that makes my day more festive. For this Christmas-chilly day my playlist will include:
- Heart on fire by Passenger
- Everyday is a holiday by Katy Perry.
- Last Christmas by Carly Rae Jepsen.
- Hello by Adele
- Under the stars by John Legend.
