It was a perfect scenario — Mahendra Police Club poolside with hundreds of people taking a dip and enjoying the rain simultaneously, swooning to the best of the music in town. Yes, folks it was the ‘Monsoon Madness’, a party of its kind manifesting the perfect combination of an ideal hangout and an ambience giving out the message — usher the monsoon in style!

The party, organised by Mediaxcell in coordination with Mahendra Police Club, included a live session by DJ Zion followed by a musical extravaganza and a trance dance party. The concert featured some of the most happening musicians in town like Madzone, Nepsydaz, Sammy Samrat, Nirnaya with Mausami Gurung and Pranil Timilsina with Da ’69, all of whom put together an awesome amalgamation of good music and good performance making the crowd love every single moment.

DJ Zion’s music was worth accolades as he played the best of the hip-hop and R&B tracks, which, was the indeed actual theme of the whole event. The party that started at around 2:30 p.m., saw the mass pouring in helping the event become an instant hit. Miss Tourism Cecilia Gurung and First Runner-Up Shristi Kharel opened the party giving it a head-start.The crowd, numbering 500, consisted of today’s youth who believe in following their own path and making their own statements. All in all, the event was a spectacular getaway for having a blast in the drenching monsoon!
