Patridge files warning order against fan

LONDON: TV star and model Audrina Patridge is seeking a restraining order against a fan who showed up at her door with a stash of disturbing poems, letters, drawings and postcards.

The Hills star claims she was terrified when Zachory Loring appeared on her front porch last month (Aug09) and handed her a sketch of a woman being strangled among other items.

In legal papers filed on Thursday (10Sep09) in Los Angeles, Patridge insisted Loring is a threat to her life and she wants him kept away from her.

Her brother Mark is also requesting protection from Loring, according to TMZ.com.

As well as the macabre sketch the overzealous fan showed her, Patridge was also left disturbed by one postcard he offered her, postdated 15 September (09), explaining she is "concerned about whether she will be injured or harmed in any way on such date (sic)."

The Hills star claims her neighbours spotted Loring on her property three days later, when she was not at home.

Surveillance tape footage suggested he spent seven hours outside her home, muttering to himself.

He returned on 30 August (09) wearing a suit and tie. The police were called and Loring was arrested.

The Los Angeles Police Department's threat management unit is investigating the case.
