PICK OF THE WEEK: Loch Ness monster was an elephant?
Mysterious sightings of the Loch Ness Monster could have been elephants enjoying a splash around, according to a scientist from Glasgow University! Neil Clark says that old circuses that visited Inverness would often let their elephants dip in the loch to cool off. His theory is that what people mistook for the neck and head of the monster was actually an elephant’s trunk. This idea could explain early Nessie sightings but may not satisfy those claiming more recent experiences!
