PICK OF THE WEEK:‘Spider-Man’ rescues 8-yr-old autistic kid

An eight-year-old boy, who is autistic, was rescued by a firefighter dressed as a superhero at his school in Bangkok in Thailand. Teachers called the fire station after the boyclimbed out of a classroom window and got stuck on a window ledge, and began crying. One of the firefighters heard the boy’s mother say he liked comic superheroes, so he rushed back to the station and put on a Spider-Man outfit. The boy smiled when he saw him, and let the superhero lift him to safety. The firefighter, Somchai Yoosabai, usually uses the Spider-Man costume to make fire drills at schools more fun.
