A boy dressed as his favourite superhero has become a real-life hero in Brazil after saving a baby girl who was trapped in a burning house. Five-year-old Riquelme was playing with friends dressed as Spider-Man when he heard the girl’s mum crying. He saw smoke and flames billowing from her home and raced into the burning building to rescue her daughter. Fire chiefs praised Riquelme’s bravery, but warned other children that what he’d done had been very dangerous. Now Riquelme says he wants to be a fireman when he grows up, so he can save even more lives.
