Prashant Tamrakar is going through a new phase. This model and choreographer definitely is an outstanding name in Nepal’s fashion industry and has left his mark on the business. His marriage last year in March broke the hearts of many female admirers. The latest news is that Prashant is a proud papa and adjusting well to the challenges of fatherhood. Together with wife Ranjana he says life is great. “It is going excellent!” In our previous article before his marriage he had said that he would help his wife with housework. Ranjana confirms that he has kept his promise and been a good husband.

But his workload will certainly increase now that the happy couple have been blessed with a beautiful daughter — Yashna. On his additional duties he says, “I change her napkins, I even prepare meals for her and when she cries at night I wake up and cuddle her. And doing so I find joy and happiness. It is so interesting to do all that for her. With her in our life definitely day by day I have more responsibilities but it is all so very exciting.” The proud papa also has plans for Yashna. He wants her to become a doctor. And when he does manage to get away from the love of his life, Prashant finds himself busy with his event management company Malta International and co-partner Bijay Suwal.

Prashant says he is still not ready to bid goodbye to the fashion field. In fact he has some major fashion events in the pipeline for 2004. As for the present fashion scenario of Nepal he states, “It is gradually changing for the better. In the huge quantity of fashion shows hosted quality is an added flavour now.
