Rahadani trailer launched
KATHMANDU: Everyday hundreds of Nepalis migrate to foreign countries in search of jobs. They often face challenges overseas as migrant workers. Depicting the same plight of migrant workers, new Nepali film Rahadani is set for March 25 release.
And the trailer of the film was released on YouTube on March 8, according to a press release issued by its director Dabbu Kshetri.
Featuring Dayahang Rai, and Ashok Rijal in the lead roles, the trailer highlights on the difficulties these two characters face while living in Malaysia. The movie also features Nabin Lamsal, Monica Dahal, Bikash Joshi, Bidhya Karki among others.
The video of Maruni, one of the songs from the film has also been released on YouTube, the press statement adds.
The song features Rupa Khanal, Sirjana Subba, Binita Ghimire, Ayushma Shrestha and Asmita Basnet. Music directors for the film include Chetan Sapkota, Basanta Sapkota, Jugal Dongol, and Suresh Gaire. Ram Sharan Upreti is its cinematographer.
