KATHMANDU: The Ratna Shield Quiz contest is to begin here on November 26. Established in 1967, the contest has been held annually unless unless it could not be held due to unavoidable cicumstances.

Organised by the Godavari Alumni Association (GAA), this is a keenly anticipated inter-college quiz contest. The main purpose is to increase participation of youth in educational activities, to increase awar-eness and to promote healthy competition amongst fellow students.

Over 20 teams are participating in the contest this year.

The grand final is scheduled for December 9, and will be held at the GAA Hall, Thamel.
