Another weekend where you can have a blast at Dasharath Rangashala. Spend your afternoon rocking to some of the most popular artists of Kathmandu — Mongolian Hearts, Deepak Bajracharya and Robin ‘n Looza. Mark February 21 on your calendar because this concert ‘Rock Trends 2060’ is sure to be one of its kind say Duplex Entertainment, the organisers.
Organised in aid of children who have fallen victims of conflict, a percentage of the profits will be forwarded to Mamta Bal Griha, Maiti Nepal. A sound system of 80,000 watt guarantees to provide a full-fledged music and the security is well placed.
The rock show will begin with Mongolian Hearts, whose foreman Raju Lama has gained much fame. Mongolian Hearts is famous for such songs as “Shayad timro bato ma…”, “Ubho ubho Khasa ma janda…”, etc. Robin ‘n Looza, famous for their groundbreaking performance and revolutionary songs that have created waves and set new musical trends, will then follow. Some of the most famous Robin ’n Looza numbers are “Sankatkal”, “Nepal”, “Once in a life time”.
Deepak Bajracharya will be performing his old numbers for the last time before he begins working on new songs that will soon be out. Bajracharya who gained stardom after his first hit “Ow Amira” kept climbing with hits such as “Juju nana”, “Andhyaroma”, “Bitla hai timro jindagi”.
The concert is scheduled to continue till 5pm.
