Kathmandu: Born on 30 Feb 1974 in Dharan, this Capriconian recorded his first song ‘Mero Yo Maya’ in 1992. His first album was released in 2001 and was titled ‘Nine’, but he hit the charts in a big manner with his second album ‘Sataha’ which was released in 2003. Sabin Rai’s singing style is often compared to that of pop icon Bryan Adams. Sabin’s favourite international singers are Rod Star, Bryan Adams and Linking Park. His favourite singers in the national level are Narayan Gopal, Arun Thapa and Robin & Looza. Sabin has performed at various cities within Nepal and in Hong Kong,Sydney and Melbourne. His third album is due in a few months. Sabin is married to Nisha Rai and has two daughters, Tiamo and Dayleemo.
