SCHOOL TIMES : Freezing winter mornings

Getting into the cozy and warm bed, having a hot cup of tea or coffee and sitting beside the fire, that’s what most of us love to do during winters. It’s true that, with the winter chills, it also makes us lazy. You feel like going to bed early and it’s really difficult to leave the warm bed once you are covered with a blanket. Everyone wants to stay inside the house, but we are compelled to step outside because of our work. As a student myself, I also have to attend my classes, so I have to leave the house. However, the main thing that pinches me the most is winter vacations being cut down. These days it can be seen that most colleges don’t give vacations during winters. It has become a trend or may be its a part of the competition amongst various colleges. Attending classes during winter is difficult especially for students having morning shift. It’s quite difficult to imagine how they attend their classes in such freezing mornings, when it’s still dark outside.

During our school days we used to have long winter vacations and it used to be quite fun. I miss those days a lot. Spending good time with family members, visiting new places, visiting relatives and staying in bed till late in the morning; all those moments are still fresh in my mind. We students have become quite accustomed to such vacations as it has been there since our schooldays. So, many of us still expect it and are frustrated as vacations have been removed these days. But, even without these vacations, life still moves on. As a student, our main ambition is to achieve success and we must work hard for it. Some might be lucky enough for getting at least a week off, but for those who don’t even get that, they should not feel depressed, its better to remember those marvellous days we used to have when we were in school and be happy remembering those moments.
