SCHOOL TIMES : New year aspirations
I hadn’t made any special plan for the first of Baisakh. But I was sure that I would be gifted with something special.
On that very day I woke up early. The first impression I had of this year was really remarkable. When I went for my morning walk I could feel and see everything as new and it really touched me. I saw the green tender leaves on trees dancing and felt the pleasant breeze. It seemed as if they were greeting me ‘Happy new year’.
Moreover, the chirping of birds, blooming roses in my garden, psalm dedicated to the almighty, even barking of dogs and all the beauty that surrounded me was inspiring. I was really amazed because I experienced something new this year. The entire day was excellent though I spent the whole day at home and even jotted down my new experiences.
In the evening I went for a brief walk. Then also I had the same ecstatic experience. The reason for this, I think, was that I was hopeful and prepared for this day. I possessed a firm belief in God that He would guide me towards on a new road of my life on this very especial day.
Is your experience also a new one? Then I think this year will bring you the opportunity you have waited for so long and the days ahead will be days of blessings and fulfilment. I have learnt all glory comes from daring to begin. I have already started my journey. Have you? Best of luck for your new start.
Happy New Year.
