KATHMANDU: The Norwegian ambassador to Nepal Tore Toreng inaugurated an exhibition titled ‘Faith’ at the Park Gallery, Lazimpat on November 15.

The solo exhibition by Dr Laya Mainali celebrates the beauty of art, the ethereal beauty through the symbolic representation of ‘Shiva linga’.

The artist apparently has chosen the sacred structure as this ordinary-looking structure under different nuances has the power to explain the inexplicable. The use of different colours in different undertones symbolises the invincible, omnipresent and eternal nature of beauty.

The exhibition has altogether 25 paintings on display and is on till November 25.
