LOS ANGELES: Leann Rimes' husband Dean Sheremet has confirmed the couple is going through a rough patch - after taking to the internet to thank fans for their support through a "very difficult time".

The Blue singer/actress' marriage has been under intense scrutiny for months after she was caught on camera kissing her Northern Lights co-star Eddie Cibrian during an intimate night out in Los Angeles earlier this year (09).

The stars both denied cheating on their respective spouses, but on Tuesday (21Jul09) Cibrian's wife Brandi Glanville revealed she was taking some time apart from her husband - and suggested there was more to Cibrian and Rimes' relationship than they had admitted.

And just a day after internet reports claimed Rimes and Sheremet are living separately in a bid to salvage their marriage, dancer Sheremet has sent out a message of thanks to all the people who have been rallying around him through the tough times.

In a post on his Twitter.com page, he writes, "Thanks to everyone for all the support through a very difficult time!"
