KATHAMANDU:

The Pakistani Embassy’s Women Association in Kathmandu is organising its annual Meena Bazaar at the Hyatt Regency on March 10. The Meena Bazaar is one of the association’s main events.

The members of the association that include the Pakistani ambassador’s wife and the wives of all the other diplomats are busy with preparations for the Bazaar, which will have lots of Pakistani stuff on sale. Onyx handicraft, blue pottery, lamp shades, bed linen, shoes, melamine dinner sets, ladies clothes are some of the various things that one will get to choose from at the 18 stalls to be put up at the Bazaar. In addition to these stalls, there will be entertainment focussed at the children and teenagers.

Not only fun and games and stalls with good Pakistani ware, there will be a raffle draw with several attractive prizes. And of course mouthwatering Pakistani cuisine to tempt your palate. The Bazaar is open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
