For a guy who grew up as a very shy kid and never sang or had a band during his school days until one day hanging around with his friends he just decided to form a band, this is an very incredible journey. We are talking of none other then your favourite singer Kranti Ale.

Ale is the lead vocalist of Dr Pilot band which was formed in 1996. Back in those days they used to only do cover songs. Then they started recording their own songs at Music Nepal in 1998.

And in 2004 came the multiselling ‘Sarkari Jagira’ from Music dot com which was recorded at Opus. The other band members include Janak Thapa, bass guitar, Janak Sunuwar, lead guitar, Uddhav Pradhan rhythm and Chit K Manandhar on the drums. The band received Best Vocal Performance by a Group or Duo at the 7th Annual Image Award Show-Held on May 28.

On June 18, Surya Nepal is hosting a stellar ensemble of Nepali pop singers at Bhrikuti Mandap where Ale will be performing live for the enthusiastic crowd.
