Singers receive tips
Kathmandu: Participants for the third round at Samsung Nepali Tara participated in a three-day closed camp recently. “The camp at Radisson Hotel gave the aspiring singers an opportunity to learn many things,” presenter Brazesh Khanal said. Personalities from various fields trained the aspirants on different aspects of their personality. Noted make up artiste Sneh Rana tipped them on use of cosmetics. Suman Shakya advised them on self-motivation. Former Miss Nepal Malvika Subba shared her experiences on coping with new found stardom.
Noted photographer Raj Bhai Suwal’s tips on camera and photography were of great help, as shared by the participants. Senior cameraman of Nepal Television Bijay Uday Palpali trained them on facing a movie camera. Noted designer Shailaja Adhikari helped them find the correct texture, colour and style of outfit. Others who paid visit included Gurudev Kamat, sound engineer Pradip Upadhyay, Santosh Sharma of Music Nepal, lyricist Raman Ghimire, Bharat Shakya and Sahaj Man Shrestha of Image Channel. Bhaskar Rajkarnikar of Avenues Television conducted a session on confidence building.—HNS
