LOS ANGELES: A new birth certificate has been issued for Dannielynn, the seven-month old da-ughter of deceased model Anna Nicole Smith. Her new name is now Dannielynn Hope Marshall Birkhead. According to Access Hollywood, the name change ca-me at the request of photographer Larry Birkhead, who was pronounced the fath-er after DNA testing.

Previously Dannielynn had the surname of Howard K Stern, Smith’s former lawyer and partner, who was listed as the father on the original birth certificate.

Smith, 39, died on February 8 from a lethal combination of prescription drugs. Birkhead and Stern, along with several other men, had claimed paternity of Dannielynn, who stands to inherit Smith’s claim to the fortune of her late husband J Howard Marshall.
