Stone has inferior brain: PETA

LONDON: Hollywood actress Sharon Stone’s lack of empathy towards China earthquake

victims and weakness for furs have upset the animal rights group and they have offered her a brain scan and treatment to improve her compassion.

Contactmusic.com reports that Ingrid Newkirk, president of People for the Ethical Treatment for Animals (PETA), wrote to the Basic Instinct star asking her to stop wearing fur and making harmful comments about the China earthquake. PETA suggests these are signs of a inferior brain. PETA acknowledges that Stone is an intelligent woman, but she needs to work on her compassion.

In the letter, Newkirk wrote, “Scientific studies suggest that the prefrontal regions of the brains of people who lack empathy might be underdeveloped. Here’s our offer: Would you allow PETA to pay for a scan of the prefrontal region of your brain to determine if comments and actions that seem to demonstrate a lack of empathy are the result of a physical defect?”
