LOs ANGELES: Hollywood actress Kate Hudson has shared her struggle to be a good mother in her essay titled Sometimes I Feel Like a Bad Mom. The mother of two said she has a strange bond with Ryder, her son with ex-husband Chris Robinson, because she was very young at the time she gave birth to him, reported Aceshowbiz.

“I was really young, like, 23, when I had Ryder. So, our relationship has always been (a little unusual). I mean, we’re close, and I am his mum. I’m big on manners. I’m big on politeness. I’m big on gratitude. But I’m a bit of a wild mum,” she wrote.

The 36-year-old Almost Famous star said she loves to spend time with her little ones, help them with their home-works and listen to their ideas, but sometimes she just needs time for herself.

“Some days I feel like I should win best mum of the day award, and some days I find myself doing strange things that don’t have any real purpose, in faraway corners in my house, and I realise I am literally and deliberately hiding from my children,” she added. —
