Study mass communication
Kathmandu: With rapid growth and big expansion of print and electronic media, job opportunities have increased many folds in this field. Seeing this scenario, with a more than four years sound track record of imparting training for TV news Reading and Anchoring Institute (NRAI) has come up with some new courses of mass communication like Master of Arts in Mass Communication and Bachelor of Journalism. Master course is of two years and its eligibility is graduation but for three years course is of two years and its eligibility is graduation. Bachelor Course is of two types. For one-year course eligibility is graduation but for three years course eligibility is 10+2.
All courses are affiliated to the Makhan Lal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism, Bhopal.
All the course are full time and classed are held five days a week. The classes for some courses are also held in the morning as well as evening. Medium of instruction is in Hindi and English.
According to institute director Nalin Kumar Singh, the institue boasts a full-fledged audiovisual production house and mass media infrastructure with an expert and experienced faculty.
The NRAI has a very effective placement cell catering to the requirements of leading FM channels, newspapers, and TV channels.
