KATHMANDU: The wait was over for many for the results of Active Mega Model on September 4 at the Nepa Dhuku Hall, Hotel Radisson. Swastika Rajbhandari not only won the hearts of the judges, but also proved that she is not only beautiful, but also oozes oodles of confidence, can walk the walk and of course, she is the most stylish. Swastika was not only the winner

of the title Mega Model which other five contestants were also vying for, but was also awarded the Blay Best Walk and Samsung Most Stylish title.

Swastika took home Rs 25,000 plus a music video offer and the opportunity to appear on the cover of Wave. Ekta and Lina were first and second runners-up respectively.

Ekta also won the Viewers’ Choice title and Summi Mishra was judged winner of Miss beautiful Skin.

All together there were six finalists at the grand finale. After 13 weeks of grooming and ousting 48 participants, Ekta Rana, Lina Puodel, Summi Mishra, Zunu Gurung, Sonam La Sherpa and Swastika had reached the grand finale. The six finalists were judged by a panel of judges of Raj Bhai Suwal, Ruby Rana Shah and Mukta Shrestha, who have been grooming and judging the participants from day one. They were joined by Gyani Shova Tuladhar, Prasant Tamrakar and Sneh Rana.

The girls walked the ramp in different attires from sarees to formal wear and evening gowns. The who’s who of various fields present added glitter and glitz to the event. The audience was also entertained by Tsujil Karmacharya and Nepsydaz.
